Corrupted files
Technical gadgets are technical gadgets, and, well, sometimes they do funny things. A file may break at a critical moment. On this page you'll find some instructions on how to fix files.
Avoiding file issues
The best way to avoid file issues is to ensure that
- L'Math is up to date,
- you always save your file and close L'Math before, for example, updating your machine,
- your hard drive has sufficient space available,
- your file isn't open at multiple places at the same time,
- you have recent backups of all your important files – this applies to all of your data.
What to do with a broken file
Sometimes it just happens; a file gets corrupted or broken, for a reason or another. Try these steps to attempt fixing it:
- Try fixing it with the online tool: https://korjaa.lehtodigital.fi/
- Recover an earlier version saved automatically ( File → Settings → Backups )
- Recover a backup that you've made earlier (...if you have made it...)
- Send the file to the developer:
roni.lehto -at- lehtodigital.fi
To simplify things, send the file directly as an attachment to the developer instead of sending a message via the contact form!
